Join instructor Kat Hartson every Monday night for an all levels vinyasa yoga 6 week series. This series will be gentle, with options to intensify if desired. Learn how to breathe through yoga postures as you lengthen and strengthen your body, and relax your mind with the rhythm of breath and movement $60 for this 6 week program, which will begin on February 10, 2020 at 6pm at the Holy Trinity Church.$12 for drop in/classOnly 20 registrations on-line and 5 drop-ins

8:00 AM - 9:00 AM    Basketball, Youth - Itty Bitty Basketball
The Itty-Bitty- Grade 1/2  program will start January 4,2020Grade 3/4 boys and girls start December 3, 2019. Grade 3/4 teams will practice in both the Swanton Central Gym and Mary S Babcock Gym. Our Grade 3/4 teams are travel teams.   Itty-Bitty: (3/4 year old):Children are introduced to beginner basketball concepts such as dribbling, passing and shooting. Hand eye coordination is developed as children burn energy becoming introduced to the sport of Basketball.PreKindergarten/Kindergarten:Children are introduced to various basketball fundamentals such as dribbling, passing, and shooting. Every week, coaches introduce a new skill or build upon the skill. The different type of passing is taught and various thematic, fun and silly games are played for practicing! Children are also introduced to game play, which consist of small sided games. Your children are going to work up a sweat, a great combination of fitness movements (shuffling, back pedaling, and sprint) will be focused on to build conditioning. Grade 1-2:The main objective of this program is to provide 1st & 2nd grade girls and boys with an introduction to the sport of basketball. The emphasis of this program is on participation, skill development, selfesteem, confidence building and most of all, HAVING FUN! Providing an opportunity for the kids to have fun is the most important thing you can do as a parent. We must always remember whom this program is for . . . the kids!Grade 3-4:Objective: To build on players individual basketball skills, reinforcing fundamentals while introducing basic and simple team plays.
